Causative Verbs

Have

Have is a common causative verb. This verbe is used to want someone to do something for the subject

Have / Had + Person + Infinitive / V1

Examples

1. I Will have my assistant call you to reschedule the appointment
2. She had my haircut last saturday
3. The Businessman had his secretary make copies of the report

Make

This verb as a causative verb expresses the idea that the person requires another person to do something

Make / Made + Person + Verb (Base Form)

Examples

1. The boss makes him staff work so hard
2. Did she makes you think like i think?
3. My girl make me do this to you

Let

This verb is used to let somebody do anything

Let + Person + Infinitive / Verb 1

Examples

1. Will you let me go now?
2. My Mom lets me choose the gift
3. Don't ever let me go

Get 

This verbs is used as a causative verb in a similar way as have is used with the participle.

This expresses the idea that the person wants something to be done for them.

Get / Got + Person + to Infinitive / V1

Examples

1. I was nervous about presenting something, but my friend got me to try it 
2. My sons hates housework, I can never get him to wash his dishes
3. I got my father to pay me the rent
